Whistle(r) Stop Tour

This past weekend the “We Love Pets” Ice Festival was held in Marietta, Ohio. Tyson Whistler, once again, carved out a multitude of sculptures that continue to grace the tables in front of many businesses as well as in front of the Armory.

“Snow provokes responses that reach right back to childhood.” ~ Andy Goldsworthy
“Even a snail will eventually reach its destination.” ~Gail Tsukiyama
I’m going to stick my neck out and admire what’s around me.
If the siren song is frozen are we safe?
“Life is a hoot.”
Checkmate?
“Mr. Carp, just keep swimming before we end up frozen like the fish on Front Street.”

With one little puff I can melt all of the above (or at least roast marshmallows).
I belong to the dragon sculpture.

    1. It has been cold enough that the sculptures have lasted quite some time and I took advantage of that after the event……less crowded. Although, with it being outside. I wasn’t worried. Just wish I would have seen them at nighttime but the snowstorm prevented that last weekend. Always thankful for my readers.
